Back to School Blog - Schindler's List - August 14, 2013

Well school has begun for the 2013-2014 School Year!  It is an honor to begin serving my 4th year as principal of Corpus Christi Catholic School!  The teachers, staff and students of this amazing school make it worth every minute!  I can not even begin to tell you how much I treasure each of you!

Here's What Happening:

7-13     Teacher Workdays/Training Days

12        School Kick Off Celebration - School Supply Drop-Off in Classrooms 5:15-5:30 PM; Self-Guided Tours of School and PS-8^th Grade Ice Cream Social in the Gym - 5:30 PM-6:30 PM; 6^th Grade Orientation in MS Room #5 6:30 PM

14        First Day of School- 1^st-8th Grade; Preschool-Kindergarten Open House 8-Noon   

NOON DISMISSAL                                       15      8AM MASS – Feast of the Assumption -families

ATTEND with their students - Teacher do

ADMIN Team Meeting - 1:45-2:45

15-16  Preschool-Kindergarten Scheduled Testing

16       Spirit Day

19       First Day of School for Preschool-Kindergarten

Announcement Schedule:  

August 14-16 - Mrs. Schindler will do the parts and explain how announcements work each day! 

August 19-24: 8A First Period Math Does Announcements - send two students daily to be there a little before 7:50

PLC Theme for Next Week: Securing Students' Attention - You can not teach any of the content effectively until you can manage your students!  Bring your BEST attention getters!
